We have no role in deciding the NEET exams' eligibility criteria: CBSE
NEET Exams 2018: There is no role in deciding the terms of liability and making decisions regarding complaints. CBSE has clarified this point.
New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has clarified that it has no role in deciding the eligibility criteria of the medical entrance test and making decisions regarding complaints. It should be referred to the Medical Council of India.
This cleaning of CBSE has come in the wake of many complaints about Open School candidates and 12th class prevention from examining the students who took biology in Extra Subject.
In its advice, the Board has said that the responsibility of CBSE is limited to conducting a neutral examination which is based on the criteria of the eligibility criteria from the MCI. CBSE has no role in deciding the Eligibility Criteria.
CBSE has applied for eligble candidates for proper examination. These examinations are organized all over the country for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. Process for this has begun on 8th February. Candidates can apply till 9th March. Negotiated 2018 exams will be held on the whole of the country on 6th May.
